On behalf of the elders of Spring Meadows I would like to share some exciting news regarding our decision to offer the option of online, or electronic giving. This has been a topic of discussion for some time due to the increasing number of people that no longer desire to use the traditional "check method" of giving. The elders, ministers, Caleb Boyd the deacon over technology, and others have sought a solution that would be both convenient and secure.
Beginning next Sunday, April 6, members will have the option of making their contributions electronically. This is an additional option for those that prefer to make their donations without writing checks or worrying about bringing cash to worship.
We will continue to have an offering time during the worship service.
This option will appeal to those who normally do not use checks as a form of payment and have not withdrawn money that they have purposed in their heart to give.
Online giving can be set up as a one-time or recurring donation. We’ve also reviewed the security of the program that we will be using and find that it meets all industry standards.
We are excited about this option and feel it will increase our ability to fulfill our stewardship commitments and improve the efficiency of our budgeting process.
Details on registering for online giving will be posted on the church website.
