Back in early September, Alicia Sanchez was baptized in the early hours on a Wednesday morning by her grandfather.
We've been anxiously awaiting pictures of this magnificent event in order to post it. We are so very proud of Alicia and her whole wonderful family and commit to being the best example we can for her.
Our First Ever Spring Meadows Friday Night Gospel Singing was a huge success as 325 singers gathered to sing praises to our Almighty God and edify each other Friday night!
Our friend Tom Holland served as our emcee and, as always, did an excellent job of guiding us through the evening and keeping us on schedule. Joe Trimble, Phillip Brown, and John Cowley led off with several of our favorite praise songs and hymns to set a positive tone for the evening. Then some 22 song leaders from various places, including some from Spring Meadows, led us in many other favorites. At 9:00 we took a break for some refreshments, then about 120 folks stayed for nearly an hour longer as we moved in and stood close together to sing around the stage area. This awesome night of singing concluded at 10:40pm.
